Among the many tours exploring the Dolomites offered by Taxi Badia is the chance to visit the Ursus Ladinicus Museum in San Cassiano. A branch of the Museum Ladin Ciastel De Tor of San Martino in Badia, the museum is dedicated to the prehistoric bear that once roamed the Dolomites.

On display in the Ursus Ladinicus Museum are the remains of the bones, teeth and skulls of a new species of bear discovered on the slopes of the Conturines and you will be able to find out all about aspects of its life and habits and the environment in which this magnificent animal lived.
