The Messner Mountain Museum Corones is the sixth and, in order of construction, the last museum conceived by Reinhold Messner. Dedicated to the pride of Alpine sports, mountaineering and the giant rock walls on which it is practiced, it is located on the Plan de Corones, whose breath-taking view represents the meeting place of the three cultures to which Alto Adige is home.

We will take you to the building designed by Zaha Hadid, that seems to melt into the surrounding landscape, in perfect harmony with that natural paradise. From its ample glass panels your gaze can travel in all four directions, reaching way belong provincial boundaries: from the Lienz Dolomites to the east, to Mount Ortler to the west, from Mount Marmolada to the south to the Zillertal Alps to the north.
