The recently refurbished museum tells the story of the war as it happened on Mount Marmolada, through the experiences, accounts and testimonies of the soldiers, recounted in an interactive, multi-media and multi-sensory journey.

The various halls of the museum deal with the principal aspects of the mountain war: the life of the local communities as it was before the conflict, the equipment, relics and weapons and the battle against both the enemy and the adverse natural conditions and what life was like in the trenches.

On the journey to the museum in one of our Taxi service vehicle, you will encounter the stunning view of the Civetta peak. On the return trip we drive through the Giau Pass, one of the highest and most magical of the Dolomite passes.
